The Grammy 2027 nominees are due on Monday, November 16. Yesterday’s organizer announcement set out presenters and timing, not winners. Before the list arrives, three distinctions help: an entry, a nomination and an award are different stages.

Two announcement times to keep separate
The organizer plans to begin its presentation at 7:45 a.m. in New York and 4:45 a.m. in Los Angeles. The complete list is scheduled for later. Recording Academy announcement, November 6.
| What to follow | Prague · CET | New York · EST | Los Angeles · PST |
|---|---|---|---|
| Presentation begins | 1:45 p.m. | 7:45 a.m. | 4:45 a.m. |
| Complete list | 3 p.m. | 9 a.m. | 6 a.m. |
Times are approximate and may change. The official viewing guide points to Grammy.com and the official Grammys YouTube channel. OPC has not played the future broadcast or verified availability in every country.
An entry is not a nomination
Submitting a recording starts an eligibility and category review. Acceptance of an entry does not itself make the work a nominee. Nominations follow the Recording Academy’s voting process, rather than an open listener poll. The organizer distinguishes the first voting round for nominations from the final round for winners. Awards process.
For 2027, the Academy lists final voting from December 10, 2026, to January 7, 2027, and the awards ceremony on February 7, 2027. November’s announcement is therefore not a winners list. Official calendar and FAQ.
A song and a record recognize different work
Song Of The Year recognizes songwriting. Record Of The Year concerns a particular recording: the artist’s performance and the production and engineering contributions. One title can be considered for different achievements; the singer’s name alone does not tell you who wrote the song. The organizer’s category explanation.
OPC analysis · build a listening exercise
When nominations appear, choose one category and read the credits as well as the headline names. For songwriting, try following melody, lyrics and structure; for a recording, focus on phrasing, vocal space, instrumental sound and production choices. These are listening questions, not a claim that OPC has tested particular candidates.
Musicians and labels can apply the same precision to their own publicity: name the category and document an official nomination rather than using a vague Grammy association. A nomination does not establish sales, royalty income or future popularity. This guide predicts no winners and offers no ranking of musical quality.
