Three D Line stations will reopen early for Halloween weekend

Metro’s updated notice brings Wilshire/La Brea, Wilshire/Fairfax and Wilshire/La Cienega back on October 31.

Riders planning a Miracle Mile trip should use Metro’s latest update rather than the original closure dates. Metro now says Wilshire/La Brea, Wilshire/Fairfax and Wilshire/La Cienega will reopen at the start of service on Saturday, October 31.

What changed

The earlier notice anticipated reopening on November 2. The agency’s October 28 update says work finished two days early, with service returning at about 4 a.m. Saturday. Its updated weekend information lists trains every ten minutes during the main daytime and evening service window.

Plan the trip, then check again

Use the Metro app or current alerts before departure, particularly for the first or last train. A reopening announcement does not rule out unrelated service changes elsewhere on the network. The improvement matters for visits around Wilshire and the museums, including Halloween programming.
